Outside weather and sun resistant Paint and Coatings solving your problems

Philipp Botha
Philipp Botha MD of BreatheCoat has decades of experience and his advice is truly valuable saving costs and inconvenience.

Performance demands on exterior paint are high as they operate in diverse conditions and extremes like rain, storms, cold and hot sun as well as protect the underlying plaster and bricks. Furthermore, outside paints should be functional and problem solving and people and environment friendly. Be breathable, lead and solvent free and odor less. All this makes it perfect for the painter as he does work with a none toxic coating, which does not affect his health.

BreatheCoat Paint and coating manufactures make these for exterior walls from silky smooth and bliss full to the touch to textured one coat paint with excellent hiding power and fantastic decorative effects mirroring the different hues and tones of changing light and sky. The customer has a wide choice and expert advice is available from BreatheCoat.

The UV weather resistance is outstanding as verified by independent organizations and test centers because the company uses powder pigment. All tools, brushes and rollers are cleaned with water and do not even effect your lawn, clearly demonstrating a green paint the company has pioneered for over a decade. After a day’s work the painter goes home happily as he did not breathe in any VOC or other toxic substances.

Texture paints are very hardwearing and have about 80% the hardness of a diamond. This is what the discerning house owner needs. Even with the best applicators used it is still an interruption and invading of the customer’s privacy. Therefore there is more to paint then meets the eye.

Successful painting depends on thorough preparation and the best quality paint as this ensures value for money.

No more shack fires in informal settlements - Michael of Breathecoat

Michael Tostile
Fires wreak havoc and devastation in informal settlements as most shacks are made from wood, cardboard and even plastic sheeting. These materials burn easily and fires can spread uncontrollably – especially during the dry and windy months.  Life and possessions are lost.

Painting with FIRE RESISTANT BreathCoat paints can give one the valuable time needed to remove children and valuables and attempt to douse the fire (up to 30 min).  Furthermore the shack material will only smoulder as the fire spreads to adjacent buildings.

Have a look at the “Fire Retardency Video” on http://www.breathecoat.co.za

BreatheCoat paints are safe for the environment and people, and manufactured on site in Somerset West.  The water based VOC free “Textured fire resistant paint” is available in powder form making 5 liters paint when mixed with water on site. This makes it easy to transport.

Further benefits include:
•    Solvent and VOC free - children won’t suffer from chronic bronchial tract infections
•    It covers well on planks and cardboards
•    It fixes leaking roofs and seals wind coming through
•    Makes people feel at home
•    Brushes and rollers are cleaned with water

Make your home beautiful, free of allergic irritants and save to live in.

The Paint Problem Panel

Welcome to the BreatheCoat Paint Manufacturers Blog, where you’ll find answers to all your coating problems

Siegfried Domröse
International Polymer Scientist
and inventor of Breathecoat

Q.   Are there any paints that are totally safe for environment?
A. Most paints use the same basic recipe to do the same sort of job. They need solvents and chemicals that can evaporate to put down a surface layer of plastic or other material. Then the solvents and chemicals, which are usually poisonous or toxic, leak out into the atmosphere as the paint dries. Cleaning painting tools also may need solvents and toxic chemicals to get them clean.

Only one paint is easily available that does not have Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that are used in most paints, and that is BreatheCoat. BreatheCoat uses tiny  polymer fibres to make a surface coating that is better than paint, because it can breathe, just like your skin, but keep water out at the same time.

So if you’re looking for an environmentally safe paint, get BreatheCoat, the problem-solving paint. Delivered to you by courier.
